各位同学：

根据学校整体部署，现将元旦、寒假放假安排及安全注意事项通知如下：

元旦时间: 2023年12月30日（星期六）至2024年1月1日（星期一），共3天。

寒假时间: 2024年1月22日至2024年2月24日，老生2月25日开学报到，2月26日开始上课。新生2024年3月5日、3月6日开学报到。

1.假期期间，如需离开杭州市，须在放假前一周向国际教育学院（孔子学院）办公室提交书面申请，待国际教育学院批准后方可出行。

2.每天必须按时完成指纹考勤，凭按指纹进入国际学生公寓。

3.养成良好卫生习惯，勤洗手、常通风、勤消毒、多喝水；做好科学自我防护，尽量减少外出、出门佩戴口罩，减少乘坐公共交通工具，保持社交距离，不扎堆不聚集；保持健康生活方式，作息时间规律，保持良好心态；外出要注意生命财产安全，做好个人防护，防止发生意外。

4.假期注意用电安全，不要购买和使用易燃易爆物品，出门时关掉所有电器电源，保管好自己的钱包、护照、钥匙等紧要物品，提高防火、防盗意识。

5.远离毒品，切勿酗酒，不去空间密闭通风条件差的公共场所；接到陌生电话或短信要求转账汇款或交钱的，请勿相信，切勿通过任何方式转账给任何陌生人；请通过安全渠道购物，不要在微信、QQ等社交软件购买商品，或者转发证件照片等，防止信息泄露和陷入欺诈消费。

6. 2024年2月10日是中国传统的节日“春节”，大部分商铺都会关门休息，请提前做好准备，储备食品。

2024 New Year's Day、Winter Vacation & Safety Tips

Dear all,

According to ZAFU schedule, here is winter vacation information:

New Year's Day Holiday: From December 30, 2023 to January 1, 2024.

Winter Vacation : From January 22 to February 24, 2024. Registration for 2024 Spring Semester will be on February 25, 2024. Classes will be on February 26, 2024.Registration for new language students will be on March 5 and March 6, 2024.

1.If you need to leave Hangzhou, you must submit a written application to International Student Office of ZAFU International College one week before winter vacation, and you can travel only after the approval of International College.

2.You must complete fingerprint attendance on time every day and enter International Student Apartment with your fingerprint.

3.Please keep good habits, such as wash hands frequently, keep your room with adequate ventilation, disinfect properly, and drink more water; Do not go out if unnecessary; Wear masks when going out and try not to take public transport; Keep proper social distance, and do not gather together; Keep a healthy lifestyle and a good sense of mind; Watch your belongings and try to keep safe when going out.

4.See to it that you are safe when using electrical appliances during winter vacation. Do not buy or use flammable and explosive materials. Turn off all electrical appliances when you go out; Take care of your wallet, passport, keys and other critical items, and improve your awareness of fire prevention and theft prevention.

5.Keep you far away from drugs, excessive drinking and public places with ill ventilation; If you receive an unfamiliar phone call or text message during the vacation to request transfer, remittance or payment, please don't believe it, and don't transfer money to any stranger by any means; Please do shopping via secure channels; Do not purchase goods on social software such as WeChat, QQ, or forward ID photos, etc., to prevent information leakage and fraudulent consumption.

6.Spring Festival will be on February 10, 2024. Most markets and shops will be closed at that time. Do get prepared in advance.
